DPhil in Area Studies (China)
I am a DPhil candidate in Area Studies (China) at St Antony's College, University of Oxford. My project examines the profound implications of the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) for EU-China climate governance cooperation from a geopolitical and diplomatic perspective. Specifically, it focuses on the existing "values gap" between the EU and China, examining how the implementation of CBAM reshapes their respective roles, generates bilateral tensions, and influences the evolving geopolitical landscape of global climate governance.
I hold an MSc (distinction) in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh, with a bachelor's degree (Spanish and Law) from the University of Shantou.
My supervisor is Dr Paul Irwin Crookes.
